My Review: My first ever James Patterson read, Yup you heard me right. I never read Any of his books, Not that i didn’t want to, just never got around to it. My Mother was the one who wanted me to read this series and she is the one who bought it for me. I have seen this book around a lot and now there is a huge fan base for this series.

The book starts off with Max Escaping the place she calls the “School” were there is people who where experimenting on her and others. Max has wings like an angel and so does others she escaped with. They have been hiding from these people ever since, until one day the youngest name angel is taking by erasers who are like human wolfs, back to the “School” so Max, Fang and Nudge go and save her.

You don’t just read in Max PoV, you also read in Angel, Iggy and Nudge and even Gazzy. There isn’t any romance in this book and if there is, it’s not in the first book. It’s just mostly about max and others trying to find answers and saving the world kinda thing. What i don’t get is why it took me soo long to read this series, i really really liked the book. I got pretty zoned into this book and was p all night until 5 am trying to finish it. Max and the others are always on the run from the erasers. It has a lot of adventures in it.

I have to say this has been my favorite read of the month. It was soo good i want to give it a thousands stars. I have to get my hands on this whole series soon.

The Story is intense, it’s just one huge crazy ride after the next. There is never a dull moment. Judging from my copy, the cover is okay-ish not really a fan of it, but without the cover sleeve it’s awesome with the bad ass Maximum Ride symbol.

If you haven’t read this series yet READ it. It will shock you and leave you speechless. The endding is mind blowing. I wish the book didn’t end cause i wanted to just read it forever and ever. I have so much unanswered questions. You will like the Twist and turns of the book and the Fantasy with all kinds of crazy things. Dig in.

Now i am gonna go hide a rock with my copy until i can read the next book. Highly recommend, it’s a must read, so read it Book worms.

Summery:Pain shoots through my head. Fireworks. Explosions. All inside my brain. The white world goes dark and I know what’s about to happen.

Zara White suspects there’s a freaky guy semi-stalking her. She’s also obsessed with phobias. And it’s true, she hasn’t exactly been herself since her stepfather died. But exiling her to shivery Maine to live with her grandmother? That seems a bit extreme. The move is supposed to help her stay sane…but Zara’s pretty sure her mom just can’t deal with her right now.

She couldn’t be more wrong. Turns out the semi-stalker is not a figment of Zara’s overactive imagination. In fact, he’s still following her, leaving behind an eerie trail of gold dust. There’s something not right – not human – in this sleepy Maine town, and all signs point to Zara.

In this creepy, compelling breakout novel, Carrie Jones delivers romance, suspense, and a creature you never thought you’d have to fear.

My Review: I was recommended the book from a few people, who also said i would love the series. I seen a few people reading it, so i had to see what the hype was about. I really did like how each chapter list a Phobia and what it means, it made it where i couldn’t wait to get to the next chapter just to see other phobias. The cover is simple but sometimes less is more, i like simple sometimes, and i thought the cover was pretty.

The story is an one point of view, Zara is all about saving the world and doing whats right. She moved to Maine after she went threw a depressed stage when her Father died ( who was actually her step dad ). She discovers about Pixies and Weres, Weres are like werewolfs and other type of animal, they also are called swifters. The writing is simple, i like that because then the story doesn’t get to boring with too much detailed, the book is easy to follow. I thought the story was nice touch, i really like the concept of it.

After finishing Need, i now have Hylephobia ( fear of woods ), thanks Carrie. I really like Zara and Nick but besides them my favorite character is Issie, Why? Well because she likes hello kitty, and i am obsessed with hello kitty.

I really liked the series and Highly recommend it to any super

Summery: “There are only two reasons a non-seer would see a spirit on St. Mark’s Eve,” Neeve said. “Either you’re his true love . . . or you killed him.”

It is freezing in the churchyard, even before the dead arrive.

Every year, Blue Sargent stands next to her clairvoyant mother as the soon-to-be dead walk past. Blue herself never sees them—not until this year, when a boy emerges from the dark and speaks directly to her.

His name is Gansey, and Blue soon discovers that he is a rich student at Aglionby, the local private school. Blue has a policy of staying away from Aglionby boys. Known as Raven Boys, they can only mean trouble.

But Blue is drawn to Gansey, in a way she can’t entirely explain. He has it all—family money, good looks, devoted friends—but he’s looking for much more than that. He is on a quest that has encompassed three other Raven Boys: Adam, the scholarship student who resents all the privilege around him; Ronan, the fierce soul who ranges from anger to despair; and Noah, the taciturn watcher of the four, who notices many things but says very little.

For as long as she can remember, Blue has been warned that she will cause her true love to die. She never thought this would be a problem. But now, as her life becomes caught up in the strange and sinister world of the Raven Boys, she’s not so sure anymore.

From Maggie Stiefvater, the bestselling and acclaimed author of the Shiver trilogy and The Scorpio Races, comes a spellbinding new series where the inevitability of death and the nature of love lead us to a place we’ve never been before.

My Review: I am a huge fan of Maggie’s books, I love The Wolves of Mercy Falls Series, So when i found out she wrote another book series, i freaked out. So i finally bought the Raven Boys, About time right? The Raven Boys is a complate different story compared The Wolves of Mercy Falls.

There is a lot of mythology in this book, and awesome Paranormal Twist. We read about The Raven Boys from the all boy school and Blue who lives in house full of psychics, but she doesn’t have there powers, until one night her and her Aunt Neeve go visit the soon-to-be-dead spirits. Blue see a boy name Gansey, A raven boy at a Rich Snobby all boy school. She Discovers that Gansey and the raven boys are on a quest to find someone.

The Raven Boys is more complex story compared to other Maggie’s book, More detailed. In the Beginning the story is a little boring but once you keep reading it get better. The book isn’t in a one person point of view which i enjoy most.

I wouldn’t really say the book has a Love Triangle but kinda does, The raven boys has little romance and more of Adventure then anything. I liked how the story didn’t really focus on the romance like most YA books.

The ending will drive you crazy for more, i wouldn’t really say it was a cliff hanger but there is a lot of unanswered questions i had, that i hope get explained more in the 2nd book.

I really enjoyed the Raven Boys, Maggie was proven again that she is awesome. Can’t wait to read the second book in the Raven Cycle series. also really love the art on the cover it’s really awesome.

( May Contain Spoilers )

My Review: I love the nightshade series. I have been waiting to get my hands on Bloodrose for some time now, and i finally bought it. Andrea Cremer is defiantly on my top 10 list of favorite authors. She is amazing.

Bloodrose is a page tuner, i read it in only 2 days if that. It was a crazy ride, i went threw so much emotional pain..agh. There is a love triangle in the series between Call and Ren and Shay. Calla loves them both but in different ways. You get torn between the two. I never did pick a side cause i loved them both in many ways ( which makes finishing the book even sadder ). The romance is intense, like the whole time i was chewing my nails to the core. There is funny moments between Conner and Mason that i loved! it was a good relive from all the drama that was needed, they are the most funnest character threw out the whole series. There is also a lot of action and adventures that will never leave you bored.

Getting more towards the end we get in a epic battle, and let me tell you, it will rip out your heart. At one point i wanted to throw the book out the window cause i couldn’t handle the emotional pain. My feelings are still in pain as i write this. The ending will shock you.

There is a lot of characters in this book that i loved. Like Ethen, first he was this huge d-bag but then we slowly see him being more relaxed with the wolfs and he also has a good ending, at least i think so.

I really thought the cover for Bloodrose is so much better then the last 2, it’s really pretty and really red.  Andrea Cremer proves once again that she can write, i loved Bloodrose another favorite out of the nightshade series. Read Rift and Rise also part of the nightshade Series.

Summery: The first book in Alyson Noël’s extraordinary new Immortals series. Enter an enchanting new world, where true love never dies…
After a horrible accident claims the lives of her family, sixteen-year-old Ever Bloom can see people’s auras, hear their thoughts, and know someone’s entire life story by touching them. Going out of her way to avoid human contact to suppress her abilities, she has been branded a freak at her new high school — but everything changes when she meets Damen Auguste.

Damen is gorgeous, exotic and wealthy. He’s the only one who can silence the noise and random energy in her head – wielding a magic so intense, it’s as though he can peer straight into her soul. As Ever is drawn deeper into his enticing world of secrets and mystery, she’s left with more questions than answers. And she has no idea just who he really is – or what he is. The only thing she knows to be true is that she’s falling deeply and helplessly in love with him.

My Review: I Don’t know what is about Alyson Noels book that i just can’t get myself to enjoy her series.  I wasn’t really a fan of her Soul Seekers series, but I enjoy the soul seekers more then i did Evermore. you can tell this was her first series, it shows a lot. The writing was really hard to read, not that is was bad but it was just really boring. The book just feels like a big jumble of a mess. I couldn’t connect myself to this book at all. There was a few times where i kept catching myself skipping parts in the book cause it was just getting boring. and i notice that the book jumped to one thing to the next and i hate when Authors do that. I just didn’t enjoy this book at all, and i really tried to like it, i mean i REALLY tried my damn hardest to enjoy this book, but it just didn’t happen.

I felt a little confused at some parts in the book a lot of it just didn’t make any since at all. I was Worried that never was just gonna be like the Soul Seekers and i was gonna hate it, but after finishing the book i realized the Soul seekers is an improvement, Evermore sucks compared to The Soul Seekers.

And i hated the romance in this book, i can’t stand the love interest in this like if i was ever i would been like hell no with this guy, he annoys me and i can’t stand him. Tho my favorite character is the whole damn book was Miles, i did enjoy him, it seem like he was the only that had his head straight( and the fact he reminds me of a friend i once knew ).

Evermore kinda reminds me of The Fallen series without the angel part, both book kinda have the same concept of repeating lives kinda thing, but the fallen series is a 100x better then evermore.

I get what Alyson was trying to write, it just didn’t come out that way. I understand first books can be the hardest.
