Summery: From New York Times bestselling author Melissa de la Cruz and Michael Johnston comes this remarkable first book in a spellbinding new series about the dawn of a new kind of magic.Welcome to New Vegas, a city once covered in bling, now blanketed in ice. Like much of the destroyed planet, the place knows only one temperature—freezing. But some things never change. The diamond in the ice desert is still a 24-hour hedonistic playground and nothing keeps the crowds away from the casino floors, never mind the rumors about sinister sorcery in its shadows. At the heart of this city is Natasha Kestal, a young blackjack dealer looking for a way out. Like many, she’s heard of a mythical land simply called “the Blue.” They say it’s a paradise, where the sun still shines and the waters are turquoise. More importantly, it’s a place where Nat won’t be persecuted, even if her darkest secret comes to light. But passage to the Blue is treacherous, if not impossible, and her only shot is to bet on a ragtag crew of mercenaries led by a cocky runner named Ryan Wesson to take her there. Danger and deceit await on every corner, even as Nat and Wes find themselves inexorably drawn to each other. But can true love survive the lies? Fiery hearts collide in this fantastic tale of the evil men do and the awesome power within us all.

rbI love the quote before the books starts it was amazing and when they used the line from Imagine Dragons song “It’s Time” I giggled like a crazy person. I am obsessed with that band. I was really Pumped to read the book after that.

I really liked the Blue Blood series. I haven’t finished the whole series but the ones i have read where awesome. I was really happy to Hear that Melissa was writing a dystopian books. They are my favorite type of books. To see Melissa and Micheal’s P.o.v to a dystopian book was awesome. I thought they did a good job on portraying the whole concept.

The first pages called ” The Voice of the Monster ” was really spooky and intense. I loved it. The Beginning won me over. I just loved how the book was written. It was easy to follow. Watching these people go threw survival and struggle to get where they need to go was beautifully written and honest.

Nat has a voice in her head telling her what to do, she tried to fight it but soon she finds out how much she is connected  to the voice and she most not ignore it. She escapes solitary and goes hiding in New Vegas. She is trying to find the Blue water that has known to be a myth. The word is full cold and the waters are black. Around New Vegas is just a waste land. People who have a mark have powers and are Rotting away.

Wes is a formal Marine at age sixteen He struggles to earn money for his crew. he is part of the Military Secret Division, But jobs are hard to come by. Wes and Nats lives connect when Wes is the only person and his crew that can help her to the Blue Waters. They go threw a lot of problems and struggles and even lose people on the way.

Frozen is action packed. A dystopian with a touch of romance but not to much to make the book cheesy. They book wasn’t all about the romance it was so much more then that. There is a lot of twist and turns that will make your heart just stop. There was not Love triangle which i was very thankful for…at-least not yet! who knows what the 2nd book is gonna be about. I thought the whole concept and plot was interesting and different. There wasn’t a dull moment in the back.. A great dystopian book i recommend it for sure.
