add-to-goodreads-button3Summery: Kristen Morgan’s blog is about to get her into trouble. Deep trouble. Online, she is known as “Stargazer” from the popular Stargazing from Nowhere blog, while in real life she is a regular fifteen-year-old high school student. This online anonymity is quite liberating, allowing her to be completely honest with her readers. Through a twist of fate, Rising Tide, the band she has bashed the most online, ends up in her small town, which sends Kristen into an excited panic. To continue gathering fresh material for her blog, she poses as a Rising Tide fan. After sneaking into the band’s private party, she comes face to face with the band’s drummer, Michael Stevens, who happens to be even more gorgeous in person than she cares to admit. Something unexpected also happens to her when she meets him: she becomes giddy, nervous, and inarticulate, leading Kristen to realize that her interest in Michael has nothing to do with her blog, but everything to do with her heart. As Kristen and Michael grow closer, does she have to make a choice between blog or boyfriend…Or is the choice made for her?

To be honest i liked the way the beginning was headed. The beginning had funny, and the Funny awkward. but more the story got the more “The Funny awkward” just was awkward and not funny. it got really boring. The funny doesn’t last long at all.

I did have a lot of Love/Hate moments with the character. Like i said she was funny and had me wanting to read more in the beginning but then she became the person who i wouldn’t hangout is. She become awful and just annoying. She would make me so mad. She knew what she was doing was wrong but yet she still did it…i just didn’t get it and i just couldn’t connect to it all. I am all about being Honest about how you feel about certain things but just to be hateful? No Thank you.

I had to stop reading the book after a while. I just couldn’t get pass Chapter 12 without being just totally mad with the whole thing. Maybe the book does get better to what it was like in the beginning but i highly doubt it by the way chapter 12 was heading. I wish i could have just bare threw and finished it but i just couldn’t.

I can’t say the book was a total mess, it did have it moments. Like i said the beginning was pretty awesome. And besides the main character all the other characters where really interesting to read about. specially the whole band guy group thing. I really wanted to know more about them. Maybe if the book wasn’t just in her P.O.V and we got to know all the characters then maybe i could have finished it. But also i always been more in the whole Dystopian, Science Fiction life…Then realistic romance book like this one.. This book reminded me that i don’t like these types of books that well. Yes i have read some really good books that where Contemporary, but this one i just couldn’t make myself like it.

Besides all that i can tell there is a good book hiding under all the mess. I am not trying to say the Authors didn’t good. I am sure they can write a really awesome book if they tried just a little harder. This book i feel like is set for certain readers that isn’t like me. I also can’t judge this book because me being a Science Fiction reader, i don’t think i can fully understand this world.

Overall: I wasn’t feeling this book but i hope others will.
