Summery:

A new guy in town.

Rumors of vampires.

Dangerous first love.

This is where it all begins. . . .

The mansion on top of Benson Hill has stood empty for years. But one day it seems to be occupied, and its mysterious, handsome inhabitant Alexander Sterling becomes the source of much talk around town. Raven, a vampire-obsessed Goth-girl who has always considered herself an outsider in “Dullsville,” is determined to uncover the truth surrounding the secretive Alexander. As she gets to know him, and their spark intensifies, Raven finds herself in some unanticipated situations. Can Alexander make her lifelong dream come true? But love always has its complications—especially when it can only be awakened at nightfall.

The first three books in Ellen Schreiber’s bestselling Vampire Kisses series capture the thrill of a most unusual romance.

Vampire Kisses: Raven is a unusual girl she dresses on the goth side, she isn’t shy and to top it all off she wishes to be a vampire. Raven has a huge obsession over vampires. She watches and day dreams that one day that will come true. I love Ravens personalty. She is sassy and isn’t scared to be herself.

When a family moves in the mansion. Rumors spread that they are vampires. Raven dreams start to come true. she gets close to the boy and starts to believe he is really a vampire. Never leaves the house, only leaves at night. Lives in the spooky attic. Bats fly around. Raven has to stop the town from hating him and find the truth.

The book is really funny for the most book. I couldn’t take the book serious enough. Right when you start to believe his not a vampire the ending fools you. I did like the book. It did feel like more a spoof of vampires at times.
