Mandy’s twin sister, Brianna, has never had any success in the dating department. When Brianna finally meets the guy of her dreams, it turns out that he has secrets of his own. Dangerous secrets. Just her luck.

The twins are about to be swept away into a world of beauty and power beyond their wildest imaginations where nothing is what is seems, danger is lurking in the shadows, and their only chance of survival is finding themselves, and each other, once again.

My first thought when i seen the cover was ” She looks like Natalie Portman” when reading the book later on i couldn’t stop picturing her as Young Natalie Portman, and then i read the summery and thought the book sounded interesting and really want to read it, so i was happy to accept.

The story mainly surrounds the life of Two sisters who are twins. Mandy stronger then Brianna’s. Mandy uses her powers to look beautiful and fit in School. Bri on the other hand powers on very slim, She never uses her powers. She Hangs with the outcasts in there band.

In the beginning story you already start to dislike Mandy, and feel sorry for Bri. The more you read the story Mandy grows on you and you kinda start to understand her a little more. Mandy takes most of the spot light in the book. The whole plot pretty much surrounds Mandy. Her ” Who she thought ” Best friend is set on revenge and tricks Brianna to take Mandy’s powers away. Brianna has Mandy’s powers and starts to abuse them. Honestly the More the story got i really started to dislike Brianna. She believes pretty much anything someone tells her. She is very Gullible and then becomes the person she hates.

The more the story goes i would find myself annoyed with some characters and the story would drag on in some parts. The story in a way reminded me of Mean Girls. The unpopular set on ravage becomes the Popular and then loses control and everything become a huge Jungle of wild animals.

Now don’t get me wrong the book does have it’s good moments were you are sucked in and wanting more. More toward the end you get into a wider plot of other supernatural beings like: Vampires, Reborn’s and Etc. That had my attention. The story does get better. I really wish the ending wasn’t cut so short. I wanted more to the plot.

I was disappointing in the fact there wasn’t much of action as much as i would like. I really wanted less school drama and more of the supernatural life. I needed more fire in the story. I really tried to love the story but it just didn’t have a spark with me. Now the story wasn’t bad. The writing was really good. I really liked the ending. I do overall recommend the story.  I can see a lot of people liking the story.

Overall: I didn’t dislike the story and did grab my attention but i didn’t love the story.

add-to-goodreads-button3Summery: Juliette hasn’t touched anyone in exactly 264 days.

The last time she did, it was an accident, but The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. No one knows why Juliette’s touch is fatal. As long as she doesn’t hurt anyone else, no one really cares. The world is too busy crumbling to pieces to pay attention to a 17-year-old girl. Diseases are destroying the population, food is hard to find, birds don’t fly anymore, and the clouds are the wrong color.

The Reestablishment said their way was the only way to fix things, so they threw Juliette in a cell. Now so many people are dead that the survivors are whispering war – and The Reestablishment has changed its mind. Maybe Juliette is more than a tortured soul stuffed into a poisonous body. Maybe she’s exactly what they need right now.

Juliette has to make a choice: Be a weapon. Or be a warrior.

rb

Right in the beginning you are already warped in Juliette Emotions, It was heart breaking reading about Juliette.

I really loved how i just completely lost myself in the words and the story of the characters in the book. Juliette has always thought she was a monster, her own parents give her up. for 264 days Juliette hasn’t touched anyone or even seen a boy her own age. She been locked away in a asylum. Juliette has a gift that she rather think of as a cruse. When people touch her they get hurt or even die.

A boy named Adam was thrown in Juliette Cell after 264 days being alone. When Juliette sees Adam she slowly remember that he was the boy from her school before she was taking. Adam was different. No one has ever liked Juliette, even tho they have never spoken, Adam was the only one not scared of Juliette.

Juliette not knowing, Adam has been looking for her ever since she disappeared and has been working for the government to find her and help her. Adam has always loved Juliette But i don”t think he really realized that until he got to finally too see her again.

The writing was very different and unique and i was just obsessed with it. The writing made it a enjoyable experience. You could really feel the characters threw the writing and really know and understand Juliette.

Reading this book made me realize that i freaking just love Adam and Juliette…they are very Shippable  if that isn’t love then i don’t know what love is anymore. That stuff Adam does for Juliette and even what Juliette does for Adam was just pure love.

Being with Adam, she slowly learns that she isn’t a monster. She learns to take control and fight. Towards the end you are open to more then just a love story. They come across a place with people with powers just like Juliette that are part of the rebellion and the story just gets better and better the more the story goes.

I really loved the story, and couldn’t find a flaw. I was just madly in love with everything about this book and can’t wait to read more in the series. The book is full of Action and suspense, a Romance that will bring tears to your eyes. Everyone i feel like will full in love with the story and Juliette.

Overall: I am completely crazy for this book. Like i haven’t felt such in love with a book since The Hunger Games and Divergent. My two favorite book of all times. Shatter me has defiantly reach that level for me. I 100% Loved it. I just want to re-read this book like 1000000 freaking times over and over again. Truly an amazing read.

Summery:Regret was for people with nothing to defend, people who had no water. Lynn knows every threat to her pond: drought, a snowless winter, coyotes, and, most importantly, people looking for a drink. She makes sure anyone who comes near the pond leaves thirsty, or doesn’t leave at all.Confident in her own abilities, Lynn has no use for the world beyond the nearby fields and forest. Having a life means dedicating it to survival, and the constant work of gathering wood and water. Having a pond requires the fortitude to protect it, something Mother taught her well during their quiet hours on the rooftop, rifles in hand. But wisps of smoke on the horizon mean one thing: strangers. The mysterious footprints by the pond, nighttime threats, and gunshots make it all too clear Lynn has exactly what they want, and they won’t stop until they get it….
With evocative, spare language and incredible drama, danger, and romance, debut author Mindy McGinnis depicts one girl’s journey in a barren world not so different than our own.

rb

I read about this book a while back and when i read about the back, it just seemed like my type of book. I am a huge fan of Dystopian books and i have said this probably like a billion of times.  Lynn and her mother fight everyday with survival. Lynn has every known: Shoot, Kill, protect the pond. She grew up cold. shooting at ever came in her path. Water is running out and there pond is there life. Lynn and her mother as always lived at the same house. Lynn’s mother dies and and she has to take over everything. The only men who lives near that Lynn and her mother hasn’t killed, starts to help Lynn to survival. Lynn learns that there is still humanity to the world and watch grow a heart. she learns to start caring for others when a group of three need there help.

The story is sad and depressing but it had it’s sweet moments when you get to see Lynn start to care and open up. It was full of suspense and heart breaking moments that did have me close to tears. The book did get a little slow at times but then it would hurry and pick back up. if you’re looking for a dystopian adventure this book is not it. It’s mostly about survival. Lynn is pretty much in the same place threw out the whole book. I did love Lynn’s bad ass attitude she had. Like if things got crazy i would want her backing me up.

A little warning the ending SUCKED. i was really disappointed in the ending but i get what the author was doing and i totally get it but it made me so mad i wanted to throw the book out the window mad. Like who writes a ending like that? come on now! how freaking rude. This is just a minor spoiler..a lot of people die. sorry but there is a lot of death and it’s gonna make you cry.

Overall i liked the story a lot. The writing was easy to follow along with and i love the cover. if it wasn’t for the ending and it getting a little slow at times  i would of give it a five star rating but i couldn’t fully love this book as much i wanted to.

rb

This is my first real murder mystery book. I’m not really much of a fan of Murder Mystery’s, i think it because that’s all you see on TV now days. So i was a little iffy about reading Find Me. What caught my Attention to the story was the Plot. I liked how she is a hacker. I am happy to say that i liked the book more then i thought i would.

It starts off with Suspense right away. Wick and her little sister live with Foster parents because her dad is on the run for being a dead beat drug dealer of a dad and her mother commits suicide. Late at night a cop name Carson starts to creep around the house. Wick finds a package at the door of a diary of a girl named Tessa with a sick-it note saying “find me”.  I loved the Twist and turns the book took. The Ending is a HUGE Twist. I had to shut the book to scream OMG about a 100x.

The Book was super easy to follow along with and easy to understand. I liked how it wasn’t too complex. I read the book in one setting. Very Fast read and it is a some what short book. What i didn’t like was the cussing it was just too much of it. I cuss all the time, don;t get me wrong but it was all the time in the book and i just could stand it.

But besides the could i loved the book and the story and i do recommend the book to anyone who loves murder mystery’s. I am happy this was my first murder mystery. I do plan on reading more book based on Murders and more book of Romily Bernard’s!

My Review: Looking at the cover my first thought was this is gonna be epic scary. The story does have it moments of scary, but i was a little disappointed in the whole scary department. The book just seemed like a normal YA vampire book. The book was pretty true to what we all grown to know what a vampire was, there is not a sparking vamp that goes to High school.

The world is taking of by Vampires. the US is the worst when it comes to Vampires running things, But a group of hunters that go to academy in Spain fight vampires at night. When Jenn’s grandfather dies she is sent back to America when her sister is taking to New Orleans by vampires.

Jenn loves Antonio but he is a vampire and she wants all vampires to die. The romance in this book confused me at times, i just couldn’t connect to the love story. Jenn does not trust Antonio that he is hiding something from them, but in the book you as a reader you don’t know what that is really. The group of hunters has a Vampire ( Antonio ) a Werewolf and a witch. They call Vampires “The Cursed ones”

I get what they where trying todo in this book, and the concept would have been good, But the writing made the book so dull and boring half the time, that made me want to skip pages. Tho just because i didn’t like does not me others wont. I know a lot of people who did like the book. Don’t judge the book by my review give it a chance then let me know what you thought. It all depends on the reader.

The story is more complex then most YA books but it’s still pretty normal also to YA books. The story wasn’t bad and there was parts i did enjoy but it just wasn’t a book for me.

The story isn’t in a one person point of view. you get to read pretty much on whats going on and others Point of view.

If you like Complex but normal YA vampire books where the vampires take over, then this is the book for you. I wish i could of had a longer review for this book, but to be honest i didn’t really pay attention to the story to write more about it.
